Gold (XAUUSD) is one of the most popular instruments in Telegram signal channels — and one of the fastest moving. Copying gold signals by hand is especially hard because a few seconds of delay can mean a very different entry.

Why gold signals need automation

  • Volatility: XAUUSD can move several dollars in seconds around news.
  • Tight entries: many gold channels use small stop losses — a late manual entry ruins the risk/reward.
  • Frequent signals: gold channels often post many trades per day.

Getting lot size right on gold

Gold has a different contract size than forex pairs, so lot sizing matters. A good copier calculates the correct volume from your risk % automatically, so a "1% risk" trade is really 1% — not accidentally 10x.

How to set it up

  1. Install TeleCopy and connect Telegram.
  2. Select your gold signal channel(s).
  3. Set risk per channel (percentage or fixed lots).
  4. Connect MT4, MT5 or cTrader and start.

Watch the weekend gap

Gold gaps over the weekend. If a channel holds trades through Friday close, be aware of gap risk on Sunday open. Consider closing before the weekend or sizing smaller.
